About the game

Raise a Viking army that battles, loots, and grows stronger whether you're playing or not. Upgrade equipment, unlock technologies, defeat legendary bosses, and conquer 1000 levels in this idle auto-battler RPG. Deploy your Viking army, hit start, and watch them dominate. Grab a coffee while your warriors crush enemies, then restart from level 1 with permanent upgrades to push even further and earn even more XP and equipment! Victories grant you equipment, XP, and resources to strengthen your forces. Every battle brings you closer to mythical armor and weapons. Customize every unit with helms, weapons, shields, armor, and relics across 5 rarity tiers. Build the perfect loadout and watch your Vikings transform into gods. Merge equipment to boost stats and combine powerful abilities. Turn trash loot into treasure. Every upgrade permanently amplifies your army's power and resource generation.

About

My name is André Jönsson, and I’m a Swedish indie developer and founder of Vexos Games.

History

  1. Regnum Idle started as a passion project driven by one core idea: combining the steady progression of idle games with the strategic depth of autobattlers and RPG systems. I wanted to create something that feels rewarding both actively and passively, a game where players can optimize builds, upgrade equipment, and still make meaningful progress offline. I developed the game independently, iterating constantly on combat balance and progression pacing. A public demo was released on Steam to gather player feedback and refine the experience. That feedback played an important role in shaping the systems and improving the overall flow of the game.
